Description

The MONSTERBASS Hammerhead 1.5 squarebill crankbait is designed to be fished around wood, shallow cover or even ripped through grass. The diving depth is around 4’’ but can be fished shallower or deeper depending on line and retrieval speed. The unique wobbling action is great for catching bass this time of year, when you’ve got to have a bait that can cover a lot of water and trigger fish into biting.

The Hammerhead comes armed with Japanese made Kitana hooks and premium paint schemes.  Tie one on today and crush your PB.

Got the Chartreuse Black Back

I was going to get the Craw Monster pattern, chickened out, opted for the Chartreuse Black Back as I know this color works around here. I needed the color as my other Square bill, another brand, is a pearl white.

Maybe the Craw Monster will wind up in a NE Regional box. :) it has a Halloween vibe.

The Chartreuse is nice on this lure, bright out of the box, but in use, almost at times, given the light, the conditions, the lower bottom belly seems to fade to white. Not a problem as white, bone is a favorite on some lures for me around here.

The black dot, black black, againt the darker Chartreuse at top that seems to stay gives a good contrast.

Has a nice action.

The hooks are nasty sharp! A plus for some people.

Management to prick myself, again, getting them off.

I always remove treble hooks, I install single inline hooks, as I'm am an old as dirty fly fisherman, catch and release is just easier on all concerned with in line. I don't care if I miss a fish, you give a fighter a chance.

Do wish I could find red inline hooks for these lures, I do like that look, nice touch.
