The park is located two miles west of Center Junction in Jones County. Take Highway 38 to County Road E-29 to Central Park Road. The home of the historic Bowstring Bridge, this 217-acre park features 100 campsites, both primitive and modern, with electric, water and sewer hookups available.
There is a 25-acre lake and the park features a Nature Center, swimming beach, fishing, a sand volleyball court and numerous nature trails are available. Other features include pavilions for rent, fishing, trolling motor boating, paddle boating and canoeing. The season runs from April 15 to October 15. Primitive camping is available year round.
