Built in 1945, Jimmerson Lake is on Crooked Creek in Steuben County, Indiana and is used for flood control and recreation purposes. It has a normal surface area of 305.3 acres and is owned by Indiana Department Of Natural Resources. The shoreline along Jimmerson Lake is heavily developed with private property, but there is a public access site on the lake located on the north end. It is accessible to Pokagon State Park and other popular Steuben County lakes. High speed boating is permitted. Seasonal winter sports are also permitted.
