The Kissimmee Chain of Lakes offers some of the best bass and crappie fishing to be found anywhere in the world. Consequently, some hotly contested fishing tournaments have been held on these waters, including the Bassmaster Classic. 

While fishing is the primary sport enjoyed on these beautiful Central Florida lakes located in the Heart of Florida, they are also excellent for all freshwater recreation including boating, water skiing, andairboating. The Kissimmee Chain of Lakes has been managed by Florida Fish and Wild Conservation.  Commission biologists to produce quality aquatic habitat which supports nationally recognized sport fisheries.

More than 100,000 surface acres of water offer. Twenty public lakes are directly connected by canals that flow south to the Kissimmee River. The lakes that make up the Kissimmee Chain are: Lake Tohopekaliga (18,810 a), Lake Kissimmee (34,948 a), East Lake Tohopekaliga (11,968 a), Lake Cypress (4,097 a), Lake Hatchineha (6,655 a), Lake Jackson (1,500 a) and Lake Marian (5,739 a).
