3-DAY WEATHER FORECAST:
This is probably one of those lakes you've seen but never fished as you sped through the White Mountain Apache Indian Reservation on your way elsewhere. A few miles east of McNary on State Route 260, Shush Be Tou (Apache for " big bear") is only a quarter-mile north of the road. At 82 surface acres, it's much larger than Shush Be Zahze ('little bear") nearby.
Species available include rainbow, brook, brown and Apache trout. Usually the best fishing is early in the spring and late in the fall, though real lunkers are relatively rare on this small impoundment.
