It is located just north of Cape Meares in western Tillamook County approximately 75 mi (120 km) west of Portland. Salmon and steelhead bound for 5 different rivers pass through the jaws of Tillamook bay providing an amazing opportunity for northwest anglers and the rivers that feed Tillamook Bay are known for their prolific steelhead and salmon runs.
