Wild Horse State Recreation Area is a state park in the northern section of Elko County, Nevada. Located 70 miles (110 km) north of the town of Elko, it is in the Central Nevada Region of Nevada State Parks.
The state park is a popular destination for fishing, especially ice fishing, at Wild Horse Reservoir, which was created in 1937 and has a surface area of 2,830 acres.
