3-DAY WEATHER FORECAST:
Located just below Elephant Butte, Caballo is the last reservoir on the Rio Grande River before it leaves the state. It harbors the same fish species, but not the reputation of its neighbor, possibly because of its smaller size and severe drawdowns during irrigation season. It is a good fishery and seldom crowded, best known for its white bass fishing in the summer.
