Owned by Horseshoe Bend MRID with constructed completed in 1972, Crown Lake is on Bens Creek in Izard County, Arkansas and used for recreation purposes.  Water sports are popular here and waterskiing is permitted.  At normal levels it has a surface area of 645 acres and a dam of earthen construction with a height of 91 feet with a length of 1125 feet.  Its capacity is 9710 acre feet with a normal storage of 9300 acre feet, draining an area of 13.5 square miles.  Try red worms, crickets, topwater lures and chicken livers on this lake.
