The Graham Recreation Department’s Graham-Mebane Lake, formerly know as Quaker Lake, was expanded from 150 acres to its present size of 650 acres in 1994. The lake now serves as a raw water source for the cities of Graham and Mebane. The new lake also serves as a recreation source for the citizens of the area offering skiing, bank fishing and sport fishing.
