Lake Davis is located in Plumas County, CA. The west side of lake is an excellent habitat for wading and flyfishing, especially just off shore where submerged grassy points drop off into channels. Fishing can be good all day early in season; while in summer and mid-summer trout come up out of channels and deeper water to feed on fly hatches and bugs in grassy submerged humps and hogbacks. Follow creek channels on west side up to running water and entrance pools. Good fly fishing under submerged cutbanks.
