Constructed in 1952 as a drinking water reservoir for the population of Tulsa, Lake Eucha is located in Delaware County of northeastern Oklahoma.  The lake’s tributaries include Spavinaw Creek, Beaty Creek, Brush Creek, Dry Creek, and Rattlesnake Creek.  The lake is owned and managed by the City of Tulsa, located approximately 80 miles west of the lake.  The mean annual temperature is 60 degrees Fahrenheit with monthly mean temperatures ranging from 38 degrees in January to 82 degrees in July.

No water sports are permitted on Lake Eucha, but nearby Lake Eucha State Park provides a swimming pool and facilities available for private use. It is unique in that it is the only state park where groups or families may reserve the park and pool. The park may be rented for 24 hours.
