Lake Kaweah is located in Tulare Co., approx. 20 miles east of the city of Visalia. From I-5 take Hwy. 198 East to the lake.

The lake has 1,945 surface acres at capacity. It is about 6 miles long and has 22 miles of shoreline. There are two campgrounds available and a tackle shop. Marina: (559) 597-2526

There are two boat ramps and a full service marina available. Rental boats and pontoons are also available.

Kaweah lake's fish population was "killed-off" by the DFG in 1987 to get rid of a white bass infestation. Since then, the fishing has slowly re-bounded and it is now a very productive fishery. The lake is stocked with rainbow trout during the winter and spring months by the DFG. There are also brown trout, Florida strain largemouth bass, channel catfish, crappie and bluegill here. Minimum 15-inch limit on largemouth bass.
