Rick:
What's going on party people? It's Rick back at MONSTERBASS and I'm going to break down this month. As always, we hand pick the baits based upon the area of the country where you live and fish. Because we believe that region, season, color, all those good things matter. We don't just send random stuff to you. We take the time to make sure we send you the good stuff.
Rick:
Let's break this down. Now, before I do, I'm going to do a giveaway at the end of the video so I'll tell you how to enter it. Or you can just look into the video description, I'll give you all the details on what to do.
Rick:
All right. As always, we don't use a box, we use a bag. It's a reusable bait bag. I take the money that we were spending on boxes that you don't use, and I took that budget and I put it towards the bag. And so every month you're going to receive as a bonus a reusable bait bag that's perfect for your backpack, your kayak. You're on the go, you want to throw some stuff in it, take it with you, you're good to go.
Rick:
I did say I'm going to give this away at the end, right? So make sure you tune in and pay attention.
Rick:
All right. So, we break it down. We've got Jeremy fishing the Lone Star on the cover. We got the least expensive, no chip, 97% pure tungsten on the planet. It's all the same, I just give it to you at a cheaper price.
Rick:
All right, we're going to get started. Why don't we start with this bait? We've got a War Eagle Buzzbait. It features a light wire for added vibration. And what I love about War Eagle is the proximity of the blade to the hook. It's a little shorter than most buzzbaits that you're going to see on the planet. And what my opinion is that the fish are going to key on the flash and skirt, and because they're in closer proximity I think you're going to get a higher hook-up ratio. That's why I love War Eagle.
Rick:
All right, what do we got? We got a tungsten jackslap blade from Catch Outdoors. Now, when I first saw this, I admittedly was like, I don't know, really, this time of year? So we called our good friend, Ben Nowak, He knows a thing or two about fishing. And he was like, absolutely, this bait, this time of year, trust me when I tell you, use it and you'll catch fish. Who am I to argue with Ben Nowak?
Rick:
All right, what do you got left? From Xzone, let's do this, the adrenaline craw. Full pack of these, the color is California 420. What I love about this bait is it's got the flanges, it's got the little edge. Oh go, I mean, you could go on and on and talk about what you what you love about it. But I think first and foremost, it's probably the floating craws or the floating claws, right? So in that bait, depending on what you're using it for, whether you're using it for a trailer or not, those claws they just sort of stand up. And you just get, it gives you that action that's so realistic. You're going to love Xzone.
Rick:
We got a Lunker candy spinnerbait. And my packaging is all messed up. What you'll notice about this is, it's got a single Willow and a single Colorado, silver and gold, both hammered. You're going to feel that vibration. And it's going to give you just a little bit more flash. I love this in a chartreuse and white with a little black and white in the body, it's pretty realistic. Mustad hooks, great.
Rick:
What else we got? From Hunt ThunderHawk we got a three pack, two jig heads with three [inaudible 00:03:49] plastic. It's the hybrid diver. ThunderHawk makes some great stuff. It's the second time we've featured this brand, so we're excited to have them back.
Rick:
From KVD and Strike King, perfect plastics. We've got the five inch ocho in, what color is this, green pumpkin. It's green pumpkin, I mean, it's singly the most popular bass color in the planet.
Rick:
So we've got Mustad red treble grips. Now you guys know how I feel about the red treble grips. It's just my opinion that red adds a different level of flash, something else for the fish to key in on. And I do love to swap my trebles out, I'll be honest. A lot of companies skimp on their hooks, I don't know why. And so whether you've been using, you got a favorite crank bait and you've been using it for awhile. And maybe you get a little bit of bend, but that hook starts to like lose some of its strength. It's a great opportunity for you to upgrade some of your treble hooks. And this is a three pack in size four. You guys are going to love it.
Rick:
And then last but not least from River2Sea, we've got the ICBM glide bait. Now, I don't know if you've ever fished one of these before. This was a bait that was designed by Larry Dahlberg. And this thing, I mean, it glides, it walks, it swims, it shimmies. And on the website, they'll break down like four or five different ways to fish this bait. And I think this will soon become one of your favorite kinds of baits. So if you haven't fished a glide bait, give it a try.
Rick:
So there you have it. My regional box had eight items, everything from War Eagle to River2Sea. It's a killer bag this month, and I look forward to hearing your comments. I look forward to hearing what you think about it. I would love to hear like what brands you'd like to see in an upcoming month. Because I pick the brands based on the feedback you guys give me.
Rick:
So I'm going to give this bag away and I'm going to go find a few other things in my room, and whatever I can pack into it, I'm going to give it away. So go down into the instructions, into the description of this video below. Follow the instructions, do whatever it says. I'll hook you guys up and I'll give one of these away to you guys. Until next month, stay safe out on the water. Peace, out.
