Cataract Lake is located about 1 mile west of the town of Williams off I-40. Its easy accessibility makes it a popular stop. It holds rainbow trout, largemouth bass, black crappie, bluegills and catfish. There are 18 campsites with picnic tables and fire rings (fee for camping). Pit toilets are provided, and drinking water is available but limited. There is a concrete boat-launch ramp. Power boats can have only single electric motors or single gasoline engines of 8 HP or less.
