Lake Chaubunagungamaug, also known as Webster Lake. The name comes from Nipmuc, an Algonquian language, and is said to mean, "Fishing Place at the Boundaries -- Neutral Meeting Grounds." The laks is located in the southern part of Massachussetts, near the Connecticut border. Although the lake is natural in origin, its outlet has a dam that raises the water level by a few feet. Webster lake has about 7-8 islands and 2 marinas.
