Lake Frierson is located 8 miles north of Jonesboro on Arkansas Highway 141. Tucked away on the western slope of scenic Crowley’s Ridge, Lake Frierson and adjacent Lake Frierson State Park blend to form one of east Arkansas’ most popular fishing-oriented recreation areas. The lake is also close to many of northeast Arkansas’ favorite family attractions, allowing visitors to combine a fishing trip with exploratory excursions through the region’s history and natural features. Reputed to be one of the area’s best fishing lakes.
