Enjoy your spring, summer, fall and winter at Mauch Chunk Lake Park in Scenic Carbon County, Pennsylvania. Mauch Chunk Lake Park is a county park and operated by the county's Parks and Recreation Department.

Mauch Chunk Lake offers a variety of warmwater fishing opportunities and is managed under the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission's Big Bass Program. All other species are managed under Commonwealth Inland Waters regulations. The Commission stocks the lake with juvenile walleye. Fish habitat structures have been placed in the lake over the years as part of the Commission's Cooperative Fish Habitat Improvement Program.

Boating is limited to boats powered by electric motors and un-powered boats, sailboats are restricted to a maximum of 17 feet in length. There are 2 access points and associated parking facilities, both have a surfaced launch ramp. Boat rentals are available at the lake.

The lake is a good ice fishing destination for perch and walleye, bluegill and pickerel can also be caught through the ice.
