Upper Sandusky Reservoir is a reservoir in Wyandot County. It has an altitude of 830 feet and is on the Tributary of the Upper Sandusky River. Construction was completed in 1957. It has a normal surface area of 38 acres and is owned by the city of Upper Sandusky. The reservoir is unexpectedly good for largemouth bass, which have been caught in the evenings by fishing flathead minnows under a slip bobber or by casting twister tail jigs. The shallow shoreline area along the south shore is the best spot. Yellow perch are also being taken in the early afternoon by fishing minnows or worms under a slip bobber. The best spot is the deep water west of the brush line. The fall is a good time to catch yellow perch.
