[Techniques] Use this topwater into the thickest and most difficult cover to fish.  It will excel around any vegetation, weeds, or brushy cover, and deliver a slow side-to-side action along with the benefit of being able to pop and push water.   This lure works great as a skipping popper to fish deep under shade lines where traditional poppers can’t go.

[Recommended Gear] 

• Reel: 6:1 to 8:1 ratio casting reel is best
  
• Rod:  7'- 7' 6" medium heavy rod.  A bit of a tip for casting action helps.
  
• Line:  braid is definitely best:  40-65lb. braid
