My PB is 5.1 lbs We all have a PB... Whether you weigh it or not, we all remember our biggest fish. We safeguard that memory and cherish how we felt when we caught it.
Mine is a 5.1 lb smallmouth that I caught up on the St. Lawrence River with Travis Manson from Smallmouth Crush. I remember when I felt that strike and how excited I was when I weighed it on the scale. It’s not a double digit fish by any means... but it is my PB and I’m proud of it.
I created these license plate covers because I wanted to share with the world what my PB is. It’s a conversation starter for my non-fishing friends who want to know what the “5 lb club” is and of course I laugh and then explain it to them. It’s also a constant reminder for me of how good it felt to catch that fish that day and how I’m striving to catch my new PB.
That’s it. Thanks for letting me share my thoughts with you. Rick
