Rick:
Hey, everyone. It's Rick at Monsterbass, and today I'm going to walk you through November. I'm going to tell you a little bit about what's coming up, what we got going on so that you can make a decision whether you want to be part of the Better Box. So let's get started.
Rick:
The baits I'm going to show you right now are some of the ones that came in the box that I received. Now, remember we ship multiple versions of the box based upon where you live and fish, because let's face it. The conditions in Florida are not the same as Michigan. I'm not going to send you a deep diver in Florida because you're going to throw it out. So let's get started.
Rick:
So November's a special month for me. It's an opportunity for us all to give thanks and really just take time out of our day to be grateful and say thank you to someone from active military or veteran or first responder. And so for Veterans Day, I just want you to maybe take a moment out of your day and say thank you.
Rick:
Some of the baits that we feature this month, we started out with a custom collaboration with Xcite Baits and Messer Custom. So just like last month, Messer painted a fall blue gill pattern. It's a limited edition, and you'll only get it here in Monsterbass. Once these are gone, they're gone. And we're super excited about this, to bring you this collaboration.
Rick:
What else we got? From Strike King, I got a Strike King series four crank bait. You're going to get one of those. We got some seven-inch ribbon tails from Gambler. We've got from Bama Baits, this a really interesting one. From Bama Baits we got 105-millimeter jerkbait, which isn't all that uncommon, but check out the feather on that.
Rick:
You don't see it very often, but when you give that thing a little twitch, that feather is going to really accentuate the sway in that from side to side. You're going to get some ridiculous movement off that. That's called the Alabama Slammer and it's from Don and Karen over at Bama Bates. So there's that one. Let's see.
Rick:
We've got, again, hooks from Spearpoint. I don't know if you can notice that but that's a pretty big-size pack of EWGs and Spearpoint's got this V-point technology, so when you catch the fish, it's going to lock in on the V and it'll help prevent it from shaking the fish off. My region hasn't had this yet, so it's an underspin from Catch Outdoors. Love underspins this time of year, love paring that with the appropriate soft plastics.
Rick:
What else we got? Oh, we got a sticker. Don't forget guys, this month we got a dope sticker, a collaboration with our good friends here, the Grateful Dead, for all of you that are age appropriate and know what this is. It's a pretty big-sized sticker. I think it's a five-inch.
Rick:
Love this. Okay. So this is the first time we've ever worked with this company called Lunker Candy. I'd say, go check them out, lunkercandy.com, Lunker Candy on Instagram. This is a great little lipless. This is in blue chrome. I don't know if you can see it, but we'll pull it out. You can see the halo pattern at the top. I don't know if you can see it or not, but it's really dope. It's 55 millimeters. Great little lipless for this time of year. Bass are going to devour this thing.
Rick:
So I'd say get excited about that. If you haven't found Lunker Candy on Instagram, go give them a follow. We're going to give away a six pack of these brand-new baits from them, one in every color. And then last but not least, we got some Strike King KVD Ned Ochos. Again, full pack. This is in one of my favorite colors, moons juice, and again, great for this time of year.
Rick:
So, it's funny because I was missing the Strike King four series. I was going to pull out this and show it to you and say, "Well, I was missing the bait." But anyway, so we got a great box. We got Strike King in the box a couple of different times, we've got a brand-new company that we haven't worked with, Lunker Candy. That's a small business we're partnering with.
Rick:
And then we got the collaboration with Messer on this Xcite XB1. XB1's a solid, solid square-bill crank bait. And it's got a tungsten weight chamber in it. So it's going to give you this really sick sound when it's banging off of wood. So I think you guys are going to love that.
Rick:
Why the bag? Because guys, I'm getting rid of the box. I'm going to start shipping everything in reusable bait bags every single month, starting in January. Maybe December, if they show up on time, but you guys are going to get reusable bait bags. You don't need to buy them from all of my competitors for 10 to 20 bucks. I'm going to give them to you for free.
Rick:
And then last but not least, why the orange box? November 15th, if you're watching this long, November 15th, we will start selling our multi-species box. It will be a combination of bass baits and crappy panfish, blue gill. Whatever it is that you fish for from a multi-species standpoint, we're going to make sure that we hook you up with that option, as well as ice fishing and more.
Rick:
So stay tuned for lots of announcements. I'm really excited about this month's box and I hope you are too. As always, thank you so much for your support. We firmly believe we are the better box because we regionalize our boxes and we work hard to bring you the best brands, the best baits that are seasonally and regionally appropriate. And we thank you for your continued support. Have a great day.
